Supported Independent Living (SIL) is designed for NDIS participants with higher support needs. This includes individuals who may require:
- Overnight support
- 24/7 care
- Person-to-person assistance from a support worker
Significant help throughout the day
You may be eligible for SIL whether you live alone or in a shared home. This support allows you to gain independence, make friends, and enjoy life while receiving the necessary services. Remember, if you live alone, SIL is just one of many support options available through the NDIS.
